You would need alot of panels to generate electricity to power your whole house, and while this is very cost effective in the long run, it is a fairly large initial lay-out.

You will save a noticeable amount of money, and you will wonder why you did not take action and install solar power sooner. Some companies raise the price of fuel in the winter,when you have to heat your home the most,  so you may notice the biggest difference then.

Solar energy is fanstastic for the environment, not just for your wallet. Not only does it not create any pollution, it also does not need any fuels to power it. It is self-sufficient and requires little to no maintenance.
